One of the core outcomes of a design education - in my experience at least - is an entrepreneurial mindset. The ability to see a gap that needs filling, a problem that needs solving, and the willingness to take the steps to figure out the solution.

These are of course highly valuable qualities to have in leaders of all businesses. Which is exactly why I was commissioned to co-design an internal business incubator for one of our biggest clients as part of a leadership development strategy.

I was embedded in the org full time for 8 weeks total; first to co-design the incubator with internal SMEs, then to support the delivery of the first cohort of the program.
