Who    I am

Looking for my resume? Here it is: 

I believe the future requires global leaders to sit at the nexus of design thinking, digital interaction, and leadership values. I believe we are greater than the sum of our parts: global citizens influence far further than their immediate surroundings. I’m an eternal optimist with a good dose of pragmatism. I recognise that sometimes the best way forward isn’t the most comfortable, and that good, honest conversation will resolve most human concerns.

I also love sci-fi, computer games, 500 and greyhounds (as pets). And chocolate.

I am a digital native. I'm highly competent in assessing system and user requirements, and exploring the use of new software applications. I'm an early adopter, critical assessor and active system designer.

I am a design thinker and doer. I have strong creativity, an ever-present eye for practical application of ideas, and strong analytical and critical thinking ability. I'm able to translate this to creating interaction design, graphic design, system and service design outcomes. I have strong  implementation and project management skills.

I am a natural communicator and a willing listener. I have strong teaching, training and facilitation skills. I have strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication abilities, particularly toward interaction design, graphic design, system and service design outcomes.

I'm highly fluent in:

  • the Adobe suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Acrobat, Audition, Creative Cloud administration.

  • the Office Suite, including with administrator-level access: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Planner.

  • mac, PC, iOs and Android operating systems

 

And I have a working knowledge of 3D creation software: SolidWorks, Sketchup

I'm also fluent in Spanish, highly competent in Catalan, and beginner’s level Indonesian and Japanese.
